The fabric is made out of triple stack woven, fire resistant, rip-stop polyethylene. The triple stack weave allows the polyethylene to be constructed using three layers, which increase the strength and durability of the fabric. The rip-stop qualities of the polyethylene prevent any rips that may occur from expanding. The material will also self-extinguish if the source of the flame is removed. What does all of this mean for you? It means a long-lasting, reliable shed that gets the job done!
As for the layers in the triple stack weave, the outer layer is a strong fabric membrane that requires minimal maintenance. The bottom layer is a bright white to ensure superior interior lighting and create a more pleasant atmosphere inside of the shelter. The most important is the inner layer, which is an inner black scrim. The inner black scrim has a coating that 100% blocks out the sun, allowing the fabric to last longer as well as keeping the inside cool.
There is also a special coating on the fabric that makes it waterproof, UV protected, and helps protect against scuffs to preserve the appearance of the fabric.
Finally, the fabric is heat welded so the seams hold a super-tight fit over the steel framing and keeps it wrinkle free. No more losing your covers!
